Reliability qualification
The reliability test plans defined in both series specifications include:
- Thermal shock −40 / +125 °C, 100 cycles (NTC)
- 1000 h high/low-temperature storage, damp heat and high-temperature load
- Vibration, drop, terminal strength and board flexure
- Solderability and resistance to soldering heat (lead-free SAC305)
Automotive grade
The automotive-grade 0603 NTC has a reliability test plan referencing AEC-Q200 test standards (1000 temperature cycles −55 / +125 °C, 85 °C / 85% RH biased humidity, 125 °C operational life, mechanical shock, vibration, ESD). Details →
Packaging
8 mm paper or plastic tape on 7-inch reels. NTC: 0201 — 15,000 pcs; 0402 — 10,000 pcs; 0603 / 0805 — 4,000 pcs; 1206 — 3,000 pcs per reel.
